Experience Wellington is a registered charity established by Wellington City Council as a Council Controlled Organisation (CCO) to manage and develop its cultural and arts visitor experiences. We run six extraordinary visitor experiences: Capital E, Space Place at Carter Observatory, City Gallery Wellington, Nairn Street Cottage, Wellington Museum and the Cable Car Museum. We also support the operation of the New Zealand Cricket Museum and Hannah Playhouse. Museums Wellington is a part of Wellington Museums Trust (trading as Experience Wellington)

Museums Wellington manage a unique group of visitor experiences set in historic buildings; comprising of Wellington Museum, Space Place at the Carter Observatory, the Cable Car Museum & Nairn Street Cottage.
The Museums Wellington group currently attract over 400,000 visitors a year which we want to keep growing through quality experiences that are engaging, informative and memorable for our visitors. There is an exciting mix of locations and current visitor experiences to work with and plenty of scope for developing new ideas and concepts.
We need a creative and forward thinking Content Team Leader to enthuse and inform our visitors on social, science and cultural history of Wellington. The Content Team Leader will ensure high standards of currency, credibility, innovation and visitor engagement are maintained and delivered.
We want to hear from people who can demonstrate strong concept and interpretive skills, which resulted in relevant stories shown across a range of different mediums, formats and platforms.
