We’re seeking a digital marketing and communications specialist who is passionate about social media and digital communications and how online and digital marketing can make a difference to our organisation.

Overlooking the Waikato River in central Hamilton, Waikato Museum, Te Whare Taonga o Waikato is one of the region’s premier cultural destinations, housing a diverse collection of Tangata Whenua, social history, science and art collections.

In this role, you’ll be the museum’s expert in  digital communications and marketing and will spend your time managing our social media channels, website and other online and digital marketing tools.  You will be confident and savvy in developing multi-media content and you will use your initiative and ideas to build our online community, grow our targeted email lists, and optimise our marketing efforts to increase visitor numbers.

We need someone who can thrive in a busy environment and loves working on different projects to attract a wide range of audiences.  You will be a good writer with an eye for design and a head for analytics.

The recruiting range for this role starts at $53,848 per annum and could be negotiated for the right candidate.
