We are seeking an experienced AV Tech to join the MOTAT Team.

As the leading museum of transport and technology, AV and digital components in exhibitions are becoming increasingly ambitious and complex - As AV Tech you will help make this possible!

An important part of the Exhibitions Production team, you will provide specialist technical support and services by developing, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting the hardware components of temporary exhibitions and long-term galleries. This requires a comprehensive knowledge of audio-visual equipment, including audio installations, projection equipment, lighting setups, and integrated interactive hardware and software.

No two days will be the same as the AV Tech!

To be successful in this role you will need:

• A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in audio-visual installation and/or maintenance, experience in a similar environment would be advantageous.
• The ability to demonstrate a sound understanding of audio-visual hardware, sound systems, projectors, as well as BrightSign or equivalent and the associated background programming.
• A full driver license.
• Working at height experience, with relevant training and certification.
• A forklift license is desirable.

This position is 40 hours per week, worked Monday – Friday. Occasional weekend or evening work may be required.
