MOTAT is seeking an experienced people leader to lead our People, Culture and Wellbeing function for a two-year fixed term.

This role will bring strong HR leadership skills to foster an inclusive work and volunteer environment, embrace a dual-world view, and support our team to be successful in their roles whilst MOTAT continues to work towards integration with Tātaki Auckland Unlimited.

Leading a team of five initially, you will oversee the People, Culture and Wellbeing portfolio and provide strategic and operational HR leadership across approximately 400 Team Members.

About you:

We’re looking for an experienced HR leader with strong people leadership and change management capability, excellent relationship-building and communication skills, and a genuine commitment to inclusion, wellbeing and people development. You’ll bring an understanding of te ao Māori me ōna tikanga, or a commitment to building your capability, alongside strong HR systems knowledge and the ability to balance strategic thinking with operational delivery.
