Keep the Lights On Campaign Closes on a High
16 May 2024
Your support made this campaign a huge success.
The campaign ran from 11 March to 22 April and was developed in direct response to what MA members wanted Aotearoa to know:
that the current funding environment means that many organisations are uncertain how they are supposed to survive.
Our members wanted to be at the forefront of key decision makers’ minds, and they wanted to mobilise the public to support them, should funding be cut at short notice and without adequate community consultation.
We have been noticed by key decision makers.
- MA met with Minister for Arts, Culture and Heritage Paul Goldsmith during the Keep the Lights On campaign
- 20+ campaign-related media stories across print, online, television and radio
- 7,362 Click-throughs to the campaign website
- 3,159,382 Total campaign video plays (Facebook, YouTube and TVNZ)
- 25,130 Total campaign Facebook/Instagram post engagements (reactions/likes, shares, comments, saves)
- 4,491,662 Impressions of campaign ads (times an ad is displayed) The success of this campaign is directly due to your support in sharing our stories. Decision makers listen to the people and their collective voice.
